Am I Eligible For Finance?

To apply for Finance with V12, you must ensure that you:

Are 18 years or older.
Are in permanent paid employment, self-employed, homemaker, retired and receiving a pension, working student in part-time work or in receipt of a disability benefit.
Have been a resident in the UK for at least 3 years.
Have a debit or credit card in their name, which is registered to their address, to pay the deposit where applicable.
Have a Bank or Building Society current account available – this is required to complete the direct debit instruction.
Have an email address to receive the important information throughout the application process, including their signed credit agreement.

Other conditions may apply and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.

What Information Is Required?

During the loan application process you will be asked for your personal information such as name, 3 year address history, date of birth, email and telephone contact details and employment/income information. Please note that finance orders can only be shipped to the address given in your finance application. Click and collect is not available as a delivery option when financing your purchase.

How Long Will It Take For A Decision?

With most applications we expect that you will be given an acceptance or decline decision within 10-20 seconds. In some cases the lender may return the decision as ‘referred’. You will then receive an email with further instructions once the underwriters have made a decision. Underwriting hours are between 8am and 8pm, Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays), 9am and 6pm on Saturday, and 10am and 5pm on Sunday. If your application is referred outside of these hours then you may have to wait until the next working day for the decision.

What If My Application Is Declined?

Applications may not be accepted for a number of reasons, including mis-typed information, or not meeting the specified requirements. Please note that other conditions may apply and we cannot guarantee that your application will be accepted.

If your application isn't successful, you can still purchase the item in full via PayPal or with a valid credit or debit card. If your application is declined, it’s usually for one of the following reasons:

You do not meet the eligibility criteria.
Adverse credit reference agency information.
Your credit score rating is too low.
You are considered to be overcommitted financially.
Your existing account performance with other lenders.

If you wish to appeal the decision made, it’s advised you obtain an up to date copy of your credit report before appealing directly to V12.

Can I Cancel My Credit Agreement?

Orders placed using V12 Finance are cancellable under the terms and conditions that are regulated by the Consumer Credit Directive. Under the consumer credit act, customers have the legal right to cancel their financial credit agreement within fourteen days of execution.

However, please note that for any orders placed that contain either 'custom fit', 'special ordered' or any other products that are subject to any personal customisation, are binding and none cancellable from the Sale Of Contract. As per our terms and conditions, this requires full payment for such products, to be made using an alternative method.
